RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY
Legal Compliance
This returns and refunds policy is in accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive which came into force in October 2000 and is part of UK law under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. This law applies to all transactions within the UK where a consumer does not meet the vendor. Contracts between businesses are not governed by these regulations.
Your Rights as a Consumer
In accordance with the law, you have a 7 day “Cooling off period” in which you have the right to cancel your purchase and receive a refund. You do not need to give a reason for cancelling your purchase. We are obliged to refund your payment within 30 days of your cancellation. Refunds are strictly subject to the following conditions, please read carefully:
How to Cancel Within the 7 day Cooling Off Period
Should you ‘change your mind’ and wish to cancel your purchase within the 7 days ‘cooling off’ period, please email or call us. All returns must be pre-authorised. You will be required to return the unused goods within 7 days by recorded delivery, registered post, or preferably by courier, at your own cost. Please remember to give us your name and address, and a copy of your purchase receipt.
Refunds for Unwanted Goods
Providing that unwanted goods are received by us in unused, unopened and resale-able condition within 7 days of delivery to you, we will refund payment for the goods. All returns are subject to a physical inspection. Our shipping (courier and packaging) charges are non-refundable. Returns are not permitted for products that we have custom made for you which includes for example painting or adaption. Orders placed by credit or debit card from this website will be refunded directly to your credit or debit card. Orders placed by other means will be refunded by cheque. These refunds will be made within 14 days of return of goods.
Our Administration Charge for ‘Changing Your Mind’ Refunds
All refunds given when cancellation is due to ‘changing your mind’ during the 7 day ‘cooling off’ period will be subject to a deduction of 10% of the gross total price you paid with a minimum deduction of £10. This is purely to cover our costs.
Defective Items
Defective items, once we can establish that they were most likely defective before we shipped can be returned for exchange only, please call before returning.
